3/ Tam Thanh Mural Village
️South of Hoi An about 40 km, Tam Thanh Mural Village is a vibrant colourful depiction of everyday life in Quang Nam. In the summer of 2016, Tam Thanh was selected by a Korean-Vietnamese joint project called “Art For A Better Community.” The project set out to make Tam Thanh the first painted village of its kind in Vietnam. The wall paintings are inspired by the lives of locals' daily activities, fishermen heading out to sea, and children playing in the street, with some fantasy pieces thrown in! The village is full of colour including houses, roofs and fishing boats with unique designs.
4/ Tra Que Village
Tra Que Vegetable Village, located 3 kilometers northwest of Hoi An City in Cam Ha Commune, spans over 40 hectares. For nearly 400 years, local families have practiced crop rotation and intercropping with over 20 types of leafy vegetables and spices. Situated between De Vong River and Tra Que Lagoon, the village benefits from fertile soil and abundant water. Known for its unique farming techniques, such as using seaweed from the Co Co River as fertilizer, Tra Que produces exceptionally fresh and clean vegetables.
